There has been an enormous amount of money and material lost throughout the campaign, possible in the region of nine billion dollars, and over a half a million dollars in spare parts shipped to contractors that are totally unaccounted for. This is not so unbelievable as the terrain ant territory is ideal for theft by undesirables.
