Here are some of the MOS’s of the United States Special Forces
and we trust gives you some idea of what these MOS’s
means and the work they entail especially during
military deployments.
Military Deployment and the Communications Sergeant!
This MOS requires that the sergeants have a thorough knowledge
and grounding in all aspects of communications, such as the following
like communication procedures, the technology of computers and the
assembly and dis-assembly of systems applications.
They must understand the use of and the maitainence of AM, HF,
VHF, FM and UHF radio systems and the Joint Base Station.

Communications is so important that they must be proficient in
voice to data, continuous wave and burst radio nets by being able
to work networks and the various computer systems.
Critical messages that link the SFODA with its command is very important for
the Sergeant to be able to perform, and must be able to give orders in
any occasion and under any circumstance to any group of combat forces.
We have created a military deployment ring for this role.
Military Deployment and the Engineer Sergeant!
This MOS is mainly about planning, design and construction of buildings,
demolition, special purpose munitions, mine warfare, counter booby traps,
and unexploded ordinances clearance operations and improvised munitions and explosives.
The “Engineer Sergeant” must be an expert and also be proficient
in this field as it carries a huge amount of responsibility.
Combat engineering, demolition engineering, and construction in
deployment zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan sometimes requires
that the Sergeant must be able to communicate in English and the
local language by himself or through the aid of a translator.
They can organize, train and recruit any size of command in any area of
the world if the situation requires them to do so.
You can create a
beautiful military ring to reflect all of this especially
if their was a deployment involved.
Military Deployment and the Medical Sergeant!
The MOS of Medical Sergeant like any body in the medical field plays a
huge and important role anytime, anywhere both in peace time and
times of deployment and engagement.
They specialize in trauma management, surgical procedures, cardiac
procedures, and a basic understanding of dental and veterinary procedures.
They establish field hospitals in areas of engagement to support operations in
wartime and at the time of this writing they are in Kuwait, Iraq,
Afghanistan and other well know areas.
I myself have attended their facilities in Kuwait and Iraq.
Recruits selected for medical positions attend two hundred and thirty days of
advanced medical training, they also spend two months of the year on a trauma
rotation in emergency rooms of select hospitals.
One of the nicest military rings available to custom design and also a military deployment special.
Give them they respect they deserve as one day you might be the one on
your back looking into the eyes of this person totally
depending on their skill to keep you alive.

Creating Timeless Designs for Deployment Rings
Today, there are more men and women stationed abroad than ever before.
Continued deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq are difficult for friends and family members, but also for the military members themselves. It’s not an easy task, but without these men and women, our country would not be the powerful presence we are today. One way to recognize this service and sacrifice is with deployment rings. Oftentimes, these deployments go unnoticed, as they are now just a regular part of military life. However, recognizing the sacrifices made when deployed, such as time away from their families, difficult living conditions, and the decrease in personal safety, is very important.

Designing the Ring
One of the most difficult choices you’ll have is trying to design these deployment rings.
That’s because from the style to the personalization, there are numerous options. First,
you’ll need to choose the style of the ring. Next, choose the material to make the ring.
Third, determine what emblems and insignia are needed. Finally, choose the engraving
for inside the band. Sounds simple, right? Actually, once you’ve made your decision,
it really easy simple to place your order.
Style Options
Do you want a ring that resembles a class ring or a signet ring?
Perhaps, you’d rather have one that is somewhere in the middle.
All of these styles are beautiful, but some may be more appealing than others.
For example, deployment rings are often worn for special occasions, especially
those that require a military dress uniform. Signet rings are a great choice, as the
clean, formal appearance is perfect for these occasions.
Others may want all the symbols, emblems, and insignia that they can possible
have on the ring. There are hundreds of these emblems to choose from, including
branch crests, unit insignias, and even special interests. These can go on the
sides of the rings or even be engraved into the semi-precious stone on the top of the class ring style.
Material Options
Gold, silver, and valedium are available for deployment rings. Valedium is a harder
material than gold or silver. This is a great choice for deployment rings that will be
worn daily, as it resists scratches, scrapes, and general wear.
Gold and silver are beautiful choices for formal occasions.
Emblems and Insignia Options
Hundreds of emblems and insignia await your inspection when creating a deployment ring.
Choose a specific piece of aircraft that your friend or family worked on, the crest of the
deployment, or even just the United State flag on one side. This is how each ring becomes so unique.
Personalizing the Band
Inside the band, you can add the name of the deployment or a short saying with a lot of meaning.
Perhaps you would like to include the member’s initials or the dates of the deployment.
These engravings are what really make deployment rings special and the recipient is
sure to appreciate the time you took to make his or her ring unique. It’s a fantastic
way to show your support for your friend or loved one.

Deployment Rings Commemorate those important Missions

Over 1.8 million service member s have been deployed
to Iraq and Afghanistan over the past several years.
Some of these deployments have been in excess of a year and many
soldiers have returned several times. Deployments have always been a part
of military life and many have had a significant impact on keeping American
safe and secure.
Commemorating overseas deployments
One of the best ways to commemorate this time abroad is
with deployment rings. These beautifully crafted rings are a
tribute to these deployments and there are a number
of different options for creating the perfect ring.
For example, perhaps you want to give your loved one a
ring for deploying to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

First, you would need to decide what type of metal you would like the ring crafted out of, such as
yellow or white gold, silver, or valadium. While gold and silver are great choice for very formal,
elegant deployment rings, many people prefer valadium because it’s more resistant to scratches.
It’s a good choice for military members who work in labor intensive fields.
There are different styles of deployment rings available. Some resemble a class or school ring,
while others have an engraved or etched top instead of a stone. The style of ring and the material
will have the most impact on the ring’s pricing.
Deployment rings may or may not have a stone on the top of the ring. Some will have a logo inside the stone, such as the branch emblem. You’ll also have a chance to choose emblems on the sides of the stone and the ring.
There are hundreds of emblems to choose from, such as symbols for loyalty, duty, honor, and courage.
Perhaps you would like to place the member’s name on the side or a specific insignia for a specialized unit,
like the Navy Seals or Army Special Forces. These emblems are what truly make these deployment
rings unique and personalized for the recipient.
You can also have a special message, date, or name inscribed on the inside of the ring.
It might be the dates of the deployment, service dates, or location. Whatever you decide,
deployment rings are sure to become a treasure heirloom that will be passed on to future generations.
Ordering is very simple, even with extensive personalization. These rings will arrive in a beautiful gift box, suitable for any occasion. While deployment rings are the perfect choice for someone just leaving, they are also a great gift for someone who has just returned. Perhaps you’d like to give a deployment ring for an anniversary, birthday, or retirement gift. However, there doesn’t have to be a special occasion to recognize the selfless service and sacrifice of our military members.
In closing, deployment rings and other military jewelry are a piece of military heraldry that will be treasured for years to come. Each time the service man or woman looks at such a ring, they will know that your love and gratitude will follow them anywhere.

Operation Iraqi Freedom Deployment Rings
Iraqi Operation Freedom (the US military name for the Iraq War)
- began in 2003, 20th of March to be more precise, and has been
one
of this century’s most gruesome war, and at the same time,
one of the most successful military campaigns.
Iraqi Operation Freedom – winning takes sacrifices
Of course, everybody knows that Iraqi Operation Freedom meant the demise of the much hated dictator Saddam Hussein. This was perhaps one of the most wanted men in history, alongside Osama Bin Laden. However, until capturing Saddam and securing Iraq, the US military and the allied forces made countless sacrifices, and lots of men and women put their lives in danger serving their country and, unfortunately, some of them didn’t return home. In sheer numbers, over 4,476 US soldiers were killed, 32,629 were wounded and 51,139 were injured.
Iraqi Operation Freedom Deployment Rings – commemorating devotion, courage and sacrifice
In order to commemorate the courage of the ones who were deployed in Iraq, our Iraqi Operation Freedom Deployment rings are uniquely crafted, beautiful rings that will do honor to the wearer. Being a constant reminder of the sacrifices for their country, these rings offer a plentitude of customization options, making it easy to truly make one your own or to give as a highly personalized gift to the one you love, cherish and respect.
Making Iraqi Operation Freedom Deployment Rings your own – Customization Options
Our Iraqi Operation Freedom Deployment Rings, as already said, are easily customizable, ensuring that they will be highly personalized for the wearer.
When it comes to sheer metal options, you can choose between gold, silver and validium. Of course, this is only the beginning to these rings’ customization options.
One of the main things that can be customized is the stone – or the lack of it. You can choose a clear diamond shaped stone for formal occasion rings, or you can choose your or the wearer’s birth stone. The stone itself can be customized, as there’s the laser vue engagement option. This allows for the stone to be engraved with the military branch or with anything you might have in mind.
There is also the wording around the stone that can be customized. Usually, the main choice is the military branch of the wearer or the branch’s motto.
One the sides, there is the option to have the wearer’s name right below the unit’s insignia – on one side – and the TOD or TODs date on the other side.
A much appreciated option for those who order these beautifully crafted rings as a gift is the fact that the inside of the ring can also hold a personalized message, as long as it’s under 18 characters, spaces included.

Operation Desert Storm deployment Rings
The Gulf War or Operation Desert Storm as it was its operation name
in the military started 2 august 1990 and lasted until 28 February
1991. It was a U.N war led by the United States against the Iraq’s
invasion and annexation of Kuwait.
Operation Desert Storm for the US military
The US military and President Bush especially, tried to solve the conflict in a diplomatic manner, but, with Saddam Hussein’s reluctance to cease all hostilities, UN troops were deployed into battle. The US’s launch of Operation Desert Storm was made by General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, USA Commander-in-Chief at that time in a message to the command, 16 January 1991 and it stated:
“Soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines of the United States Central Command, this morning at 0300, we launched Operation DESERT STORM, an offensive campaign that will enforce the United Nation’s resolutions that Iraq must cease its rape and pillage of its weaker neighbor and withdraw its forces from Kuwait. My confidence in you is total. Our cause is just! Now you must be the thunder and lightning of Desert Storm. May God be with you, your loved ones at home, and our Country.”

These deployment rings can be worn with pride anytime, anywhere, a constant reminder for those who see them that the wearer is a national hero and should be treated with the utmost respect.

There is also the option not to have a stone on the ring, and to have the branch’s insignia engraved in the metal of the ring (gold, silver or validium).
The sides of the ring can be customized as well. Usually, the name of the soldier is engraved just below the unit’s insignia on the side, and the TOD or TODs on the other side. The inside of the ring can contain a personalized message as long as it’s fewer than 18 characters spaces included.

Military deployment gifts for those far from home
Military deployments are not easy for most
military members, their friends, and their
families. It’s hard to be separated for months
on end and for family and friends, not knowing
that your loved one is safe can be heart
wrenching. However, the chances of
deploying are higher than ever before
and this is something that every military
member knows when they sign up.
Depending on the deployment, military members may be gone for just a few days to over a year. Some deployments are stateside, while others are halfway around the world. With military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, there are more military members deployed than ever before. This takes a toll on the military members and their families. One way to make these deployments a bit easier is with military deployment gifts.
So, what do you give a military member who is being deployed or is already overseas? One of the first military deployment gifts that military members will tell you they want is a care package. Boxes fill of personal care items, like favorite shampoos, lotions, or deodorants are always appreciated. Many times, our military members cannot find their favorites personal hygiene items in other countries. Snacks, such as packaged cookies, chips, or crackers are also welcome. Candies and sweets are often hoarded, lest they disappear too quickly. Books, magazines, and pictures can also be tucked inside care packages. Consider sending one of these packages to your loved one every couple of weeks or once a month.

Other military deployment gifts might include clothing with the insignia of the military operation the member is deployed in support of. Hats, t-shirts, jackets, and sweats are the most popular. However, you can also find doo-rags, underwear, and cold weather gear, if the weather requires it. You’ll be surprised at how much a few pairs of socks or a new bath towel might be appreciated, as well.
Stationary, envelopes, stamps and calling cards are usually in short supply, as well. These can come in quite handy and are often much cheaper than buying them in the country the military members are deployed to. One thing to remember, though, is that many countries have strict customs requirements for what can be mailed into the country. If you are not sure if something would be confiscated by customs agents where your loved one is deployed, it’s best to ask ahead of time rather than to just mail the package and hope for the best.
In closing, when you’re trying to decide which military deployment gift you should buy, consider where your loved one is deployed. Ask what he or she needs and don’t accept “nothing” for an answer! When all else fails, a care package will always be welcome. Don’t forget that the seasons change, too. What might have been great for 110 degrees won’t be acceptable for below freezing. As the seasons change, the needs of your loved one will change, too.

Military Deployment Gifts for those far from Home
Being a member of the United States military has always meant there
was a chance that you would end up overseas.
With military members in 150 countries around the world, the
chances that your loved one will spend a great deal of time
away from home are quite high.
Military deployments are usually several months long, but some are over a year.
When a military member is separated from his family and friends,
it can be very difficult. One of the best ways to show that you care and
to help keep their spirits high is with military deployment gifts.
The first question you’ll probably have is “What kind of gift do I give?”
There is no specific gift that will please everyone. It’s up to you to
consider what type of gift your loved one typically likes and also to set
a budget that will work for you. There are some gifts, such as military rings,
that can cost several hundred dollars, although there are cheaper rings available,
too. However, you can also find military deployment gifts that only cost a
couple of dollars, such as bumper stickers.

Military deployment gifts must be able to be mailed to the country where your
loved one is stationed, too. Some countries have strict laws governing what is
allowed in and out of the country. If you have questions about this, you should
contact the post office or the military unit that your loved one is attached to.
You don’t want to find the perfect gift, mail it, and then find out it has been confiscated by customs agents.
Some great military deployment gifts include hats, jackets, and t-shirts.
Almost all of the major military operations, such as Desert Storm, Desert
Shield, and Iraqi Freedom, have clothing specifically designed for the deployment.
Some have a humorous message, while others are very serious.
There are all types of clothing available and a simple search
on the internet will give you plenty of choices.
Military jewelry is also a great choice. From deployment rings and necklaces to watches
and tie tacks, there are a number of beautiful jewelry pieces available for military members.
Consider giving a medallion with the name of the operation on the front and the military
member’s name on the back. There are also unique pieces of military jewelry, such as
earrings, toe rings, and even belly button rings that can make a great military deployment gift.
Care packages are always a welcome sight for those deployed overseas.
Pack a box full of their favorite treats, personal hygiene items, books,
magazines, letters, and pictures. These military deployment gifts are
ones that will often bring a tear to the recipient’s eyes because they
know you put a lot of effort into it.
In closing, military deployment gifts will help make the separation
a bit easier on both you and your loved one.
Simply knowing that someone cares will mean a lot and make
the time away a little bit more bearable.
